Resources for the Classroom: Coast to Coast

2/21/2013 12:00:00 AM
Spark your students’ competitive spirit by playing this interactive geography game. The goal is to get from coast to coast by answering geography questions, and moving ahead one spot at a time with the correct answer. There are dozens of questions, so the game never gets stale. Students show off their knowledge of where states are in the country, what the state’s shape is, as well as the capital, and sometimes even what its nickname is. Although geared to elementary age students, the content is appropriate for even middle school geography review.
