Can You Divide Them Fairly?

2/27/2013 By:

The Fair Division activity page, part of the Discrete Mathematics Project from the University of Colorado, presents fourteen problems. Each activity sets out goals, provides an abstract, problem statement, and instructor suggestions. In addition, there is a listing of the materials needed and the class time necessary for each activity. It also covers the mathematics concepts used, and gives ideas of how the activity can be integrated with other subjects.
