People Like Us: Social Class in America

4/19/2013 By:

Social stratification is a sociological concept that classifies groups based mainly on economic criteria, but also includes intangibles such as taste, language use, and attitude. In the United States that is manifested in the loose concept of upper, middle, and lower class.
