May is Ultraviolet Awareness Month, so it’s good to review the facts about UV and find out what damage excessive ultraviolet radiation can do. Not only does it damage the skin, but it also damages the eyes, so slap on the sunscreen and wear proper sun glasses. A very interesting chart shows the annual UV forecasts from 1994 through 2013. The number of very high UV days has increased dramatically over time. Find out how to use the UV index to protect yourself and even your pets.
