Kaplan K12 has received approved vendor status by The Cooperative Purchasing Network (TCPN), a national governmental purchasing cooperative that contracts on behalf of K-12 schools, local governments, colleges, universities, and nonprofit organizations in all 50 states. The agreement with Kaplan includes test preparation offerings, programs for pre-college exams, and online standards-based curriculum and professional development resources, which can be delivered online, by a school or district's own teachers, or by Kaplan instructors.

The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) today released the full report from the 2012 Vision K-20 Survey, its fifth annual national survey to measure U.S. educational institutions' self-reported progress toward building a framework that embraces technology and e-learning. The comprehensive report surveyed over 1,600 educators and education administrators, and suggests that K-20 institutions are maintaining current levels of technology growth despite difficult budget conditions.

At ISTE 2012 Pearson Launches New Zeos Program to Engage Students in Content and Skill Assessment SAN DIEGO – June 25, 2012 –At the annual ISTE conference in San Diego today, Pearson launched Zeos, an online standards mastery program that utilizes “gamification,” the application of elements of game-based learning design, to engage students in grades three through ten in assessment practice.
