These additions highlight the most recent versions of popular programs, enabling teachers to master updated interfaces and features.

New technology training offerings include:

“The new technology training is timed perfectly with the start of summer, as well as the considerable modifications to these programs,” said Lisa Barnett, CEO of Atomic Learning. “Our professional development offerings will help educators take advantage of these months to stay up-to-date on technology developments, so in the fall they’re familiar with applications they use on a daily basis.”

In addition to the new technology training, Atomic Learning will host a poster session led by Carmen Garcia, director of instructional technology for McAllen ISD, Wednesday, June 26, at 11 a.m. CDT. The session, “It’s Not an iPad Initiative, It’s a Learning Initiative,” highlights how McAllen ISD's Transforming Learning in the Classroom, Campus and Community program is an innovative teaching and learning framework that leverages technology to give students the skills they need to succeed.

Atomic Learning will also share its iPad app, enhanced Custom Training feature for schools and districts, and an online training workshop about the basics of computer literacy.
