Learning.com Joins P21 to Support 21st Century Learning

WASHINGTON – Feb. 18, 2014 – The Partnership for 21st Century Skills (P21) welcomes Learning.com to the organization’s strategic council and the diverse cadre of education leaders, business community, and state and federal policymakers supporting student readiness for college, career, and citizenship.

Dr. Cliff Green, vice president of education and customer experience at Learning.com, will represent the organization on P21’s strategic council and will be involved with P21 initiatives.

“Our goal at Learning.com is to help today’s students develop the 21st century skills they need for tomorrow’s success, so working with P21 is a natural fit,” said Green. “We look forward to working closely with other P21 members and sharing our perspective on how to best support schools as they implement digital content.”

Learning.com is a leader in delivering digital curriculum and assessments to districts and schools. Learning.com’s digital content management tools help educators organize and customize how they deliver content to students. Learning.com also provides implementation and professional development services to support educators as they integrate technology into instruction.

“We are delighted to add Learning.com’s digital learning expertise to P21,” said Stephan Turnipseed, chair of P21 and president emeritus and executive director of strategic partnerships at LEGO Education. “We look forward to having a strong collaborative partner in Learning.com and expanding our powerful network of advocates in support of 21st century teaching and learning for college, career, and citizenship.”

About P21
P21 is a national organization that advocates for 21st century readiness for every student. As the United States continues to compete in a global economy that demands innovation, P21 and its members provide tools and resources to help the U.S. education system keep up by fusing the 3Rs and 4Cs (critical thinking and problem solving, communication, collaboration, and creativity and innovation). While leading districts and schools are already doing this (see Exemplar Program), P21 advocates for local, state and federal policies that support this approach for every school. www.p21.org
