Pearson has released WriteToLearn™ 6.0, the newest version of Pearson’s online literacy tool. With WriteToLearn, students develop essay-writing and summarization skills, and their efforts are measured by an automated assessment technology that evaluates the meaning of text, not just grammatical correctness or spelling.

The new student performance reports offer insights into the amount of time that students are using WriteToLearn and the progress they are making, and provides administrators with information to make informed decisions. WriteToLearn 6.0 also features expanded text-to-speech capabilities. The program qualifies for federal funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
