Visual Learning TechGrant Award Winners Announced

Monarch Teaching Technologies (MTT) announces the winners of the 2011 VizZle Visual Learning TechGrant Program. Out of the more than 150 compelling submissions, 10 districts were selected to receive 25 licenses of VizZle, the web-based authoring tool that offers interactive, visually-supported curriculum for children with autism and other learning challenges.

The following 10 districts were chosen as recipients of the TechGrants:

  • Anaheim Union High School District, Anaheim, California
  • Minneapolis Public Schools, Minneapolis, Minnesota
  • Northside Independent School District, San Antonio, Texas
  • Mesa County Valley School District, Grand Junction, Colorado
  • School District of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
  • Montgomery County Public, Rockville, Maryland
  • Forsyth County Schools, Cumming, Georgia
  • Miami-Dade County Public Schools, Miami, Florida
  • Educational Service District 112 near Vancouver, Washington
  • Towner Gardens School [MINDS] in Singapore, China

Second Annual Visual Learning TechGrants

Monarch Teaching Technologies (MTT) is accepting proposals from qualified educational institutions for their Second Annual Visual Learning 2011 TechGrant program. Eight school districts will be granted access for up to 25 teachers to VizZle, MTT’s web-based authoring tool that offers interactive, visually-supported curriculum for children with autism and other learning challenges.
