 Faronics announces its first student programming contest, the Faronics Core Programming Competition (FCPC).

The FCPC is open to all post-secondary computer science students and provides an opportunity for students to test their skills and knowledge by building products that integrate with Faronics Core, a centralized software deployment and management platform for Faronics products.

Designed as a term project, the contest begins September 13, 2010 and ends March 1, 2011. The registration deadline is November 30, 2010.

First Place Cash Prize: $US 20,000
Second Place Cash Prize: $US 10,000
