February 27 is Digital Learning Day, an event in which education leaders will highlight great teaching practices and showcase innovative teachers, leaders, and instructional technology programs that are improving student outcomes. 

This year's theme is: Innovate! Every Classroom, Every Day with Digital Learning. Schools and districts are invited to share related events and happenings on the DLD website, here. 

Future Ready advisers Adam Phyall and Brianna Hodges will moderate the live DC Event from 12 to 1pm ET, in which participants will hear from Education Superhighway CEO Evan Marwell, see snapshots of success in Arkansas, Louisiana, and North Carolina, and hear from FCC Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel on updates around digital equity and the homework gap. Tomorrow is Digital Learning Day 2019.  Join thousands of teachers and students celebrating DLDay in classrooms, libraries, schools, and districts across the country and mark your spot on the official DLDay map, adding to the more than 1,700 events present.

Teachers who share pictures and videos of their students in action on Twitter and tag @OfficialDLDay and #DLDay may see their tweet highlighted by @OfficialDLDay or showcased during the DLDay LIVE webinars.

On February 23, teachers and students around the country will participate in Digital Learning Day (@OfficialDLDay). The purpose of the day is to highlight great teaching and demonstrate how the effective use of technology can improve student outcomes by providing: access to challenging content; feedback through formative assessment; opportunities for learning anytime and anywhere; and individualized instruction.
