Clock Ticking for $100,000 ORIGO Education Grant Initiative Recipients

St. Charles, Mo. (Mar. 7, 2016) – ORIGO Education, creator of the world-class learning resource Stepping Stones, is inviting school districts to apply for a total of $100,000 in educational grants to help improve elementary mathematics instruction in underserved communities. Five $10,000 grants ($50,000 total) will be awarded as Innovation Improvement Grants, with the other $50,000 being divided in varying amounts as Matching Assistance Grants.

Teacher and Student Success with Common Core Mathematics Linked to Math Curriculum

ORIGO Education releases the findings for year two of its three-year research study analyzing the efficacy of its K–5 mathematics curriculum. The research, conducted by Johns Hopkins University, is an ongoing evaluation examining the effectiveness of the Common Core-aligned mathematics curriculum, ORIGO Stepping Stones, on student academic outcomes at Worthington City School District in Ohio. The results demonstrate a successful approach for increasing student achievement and teacher pedagogy.
