Cambridge, MA Sept. 21, 2015 – Mimio is sponsoring a free, one-hour webinar for California district and school administrators who are interested in gaining a better understanding of technology funding sources. The webinar is scheduled for Tuesday, October 13, at 4:30 PM PST.

The webinar will be hosted by Dr. Jenny House, president and principal of RedRock Reports, an educational funding consultancy. House will discuss the state and private funds that are available now to help California schools and districts obtain the technology they want ‒ from laptops to interactive whiteboards, interactive projectors, tablets, and more.

“Over the next 12 to 18 months, California schools have a unique opportunity to qualify for funding that is becoming available just for their schools,” said Dan Winkler, Mimio’s chief technology officer. “We are pleased to bring a recognized expert together with those educators and administrators who are looking for financial resources that will help them deliver 21st century technology to their students.”

Webinar topics will include the key funding issues educators in California should consider as they purchase products to support their 2015-16 programs. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions pertinent to their own needs and funding issues.
