The webinar is scheduled for Tuesday, December 15 at 4:30 PM EDT.
Leading the webinar will be John M. Nelson III, former Assistant Superintendent for Instructional Services at Chula Vista (Calif.) Elementary School District. Dr. Nelson will discuss three key elements that helped his district outperform the state average on California’s 2015 high-stakes assessment, but also outpaced schools with similar demographics across the state.
Joining Dr. Nelson will be Kevin Baird. A noted leader in college and career readiness content, strategies, and standards Mr. Baird currently serves as Chairman and Senior Faculty at the non-profit Center for College & Career Readiness. Having worked with some of the country’s largest school districts and state departments of education, Mr. Baird will share essential steps that can be taken to promote student learning outcomes while successfully and consistently drive achievement gains.
