Winning products were presented at the Education Business Forum, the leading business and finance conference for the K-12 and postsecondary education technology market, held Dec. 8-9 in New York City.

NEW YORK, NY (Dec. 9, 2015) – The Education Technology Industry Network (ETIN) of SIIA recognizes the top innovative products in the education technology market as winners of the Innovation Incubator program. Winning products were presented at the Education Business Forum, the leading business and finance conference for the K-12 and postsecondary education technology market, held Dec. 8-9 in New York City.

Award Winners:

Judges of the Innovation Incubator program assessed more than 40 applicants on a broad range of criteria. With input from educators and industry leaders across the country, ten participants and one alternate were selected as finalists for the program. Judges from the education technology industry selected the top four innovations at the Education Business Forum.

The SIIA Innovation Incubator Program identifies and supports entrepreneurs in their development and distribution of innovative learning technologies. The program began in 2006 and has provided support for dozens of successful products and companies in their efforts to improve education through the use of software, digital content, and related technologies. The program is open to applicants from academic and non-profit institutions, pre-revenue and early-stage companies, as well as established companies with newly developed technologies.

WASHINGTON, DC (Nov. 12, 2015) – The Education Technology Industry Network (ETIN) of the SIIA announces finalists and an alternate, for its Innovation Incubator Program. The program will be held during the annual Education Business Forum (EBF), the leading business and finance conference for the K-12 and postsecondary education technology markets. The finalists will feature their products during the event, Dec. 8-9 at the AMA Executive Conference Center in New York City.  Awards will be presented to the Most Innovative and Most Likely to Succeed based on the votes of conference attendees.

Selected developers of promising technologies in the K-12 and postsecondary markets will be invited to participate in the SIIA Innovation Incubator program during the 14th annual SIIA Education Business Forum, December 9-10, at McGraw-Hill Conference Center in New York. The program will be held during the 12th annual Ed Tech Business Forum, Nov. 26-27, at its new location, the McGraw Hill Conference Center in New York. Twelve products and services will be featured during the event, and awards will be presented to the Most Innovative and Most Likely to Succeed based on votes of conference attendees. New this year, one innovator will be presented with the Educator’s Choice Award based on votes from educators in New York and around the country.
