(May 19, 2016) - Discovery Education, the leading provider of digital content and professional development for K-12 classrooms, today announced that Discovery Education Streaming Plus has won the 2016 SIIA CODiE Award for Best Source for Reference or Education Resource. Discovery Education Streaming Plus is a comprehensive digital service providing instructional content across all K-12 curricular areas, along with content creation and collaboration tools.

Discovery Education Streaming Plus won one of only 29 awards presented by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) for products and services deployed specifically for education and learning professionals. An SIIA CODiE Award win is a prestigious honor as each award winner was reviewed by a field of industry experts, whose evaluations determined the finalists.
