Cincinnati, Ohio (July 13, 2016) – Scenario Learning, the leading developer of safety and compliance solutions for schools, colleges and workplaces, and the Associated School Boards of South Dakota (ASBSD) announce a new partnership bringing the SafeSchools Online Staff Training System to ASBSD’s 150 public K-12 school districts throughout the state.

Members of the Associated School Boards Protective Trust’s Workers’ Compensation and Property/Liability Funds now have complimentary access to the market-leading training system at no cost, while other ASBSD members receive the program at a 50 percent savings. ASBSD joins more than 30 leading insurance providers who partner with Scenario Learning to bring SafeSchools programs to their members to create even safer learning environments for students and staff members.

The SafeSchools Training System is the first choice of thousands of school boards and district administrators who want to automate their staff training and policy administration. The web-based system includes a comprehensive library of courses covering important school safety and compliance topics, such as Active Shooter; Bloodborne Pathogens; Bullying Prevention; Child Abuse Identification; Hazing Prevention; Sexual Harassment; Visual Weapons Screening; Youth Suicide Prevention and more. All SafeSchools Training courses are 100 percent school-focused and written by the nation’s leading safety experts, so the content is relevant and immediately applicable in a school environment. Using the training system, administrators can easily assign SafeSchools Training courses or their own district-specific policies and content, automatically track progress, and download compliance reports.

Thousands of districts nationwide, including 33 of the Top 100 largest in the U.S. use SafeSchools Training to efficiently manage safety training compliance. The program is a perennial Top 100 Best in Education award winner, as voted by District Administration readers the past 6 years.

“Our team is committed to making the world safer and more inclusive, and this partnership will have a significant impact on a large number of students and educators throughout South Dakota,” said Scenario Learning CEO Brian Taylor. “I applaud ASBSD for setting a national example of how to best support districts in their most important endeavor, school safety.”
