The 36-inch Perfecta® 36000STP full-color poster printer is a robust yet compact printer that gives educators the freedom to print, scan, copy, and share

(Brooklyn Park, MN) April 18, 2017 —Varitronics, creator of the VariQuest® suite of solutions and leading provider of visual and kinesthetic learning tools for the K-12 market, is pleased to introduce its Perfecta® 36000STP full-color poster printer. This latest model has all the functionality of the award-winning Perfecta 2400, and the ease of use customers love about the ProImage® PosterPrinters and Poster Maker 3600. Its fully integrated scanner, mobile printing abilities, and direct USB printing and saving serve to improve school communication, differentiate instruction, bolster academic achievement, and enhance fundraising efforts.

The Perfecta 3600STP can scan documents up to 36 inches wide to convey a school’s brand, while giving the flexibility to scan small to big or big to small, all with minimal setup and a single power cord. Users also have the ability to print directly from a smartphone or tablet—and for connectivity there’s Wi-Fi Direct, enabling the printer’s own Wi-Fi hotspot that doesn’t require the use of a school’s network.

Perfecta 3600STP users have the option to bundle the printer with the VariQuest Design Center, preloaded with thousands of educationally relevant templates, graphics, and more. Teachers and administrators with any level of technical experience can use the Design Center to create instructional aides for the classroom, as well as eye-catching event banners and posters for school or district-wide initiatives.

“We’re proud to build on the legacy of our ProImage PosterPrinters and Poster Maker,” said David Grey, CEO of Varitronics. “The Perfecta 36000STP creates beautiful, large-scale projects without taking up too much space. It gives educators an easy way to communicate and connect with their students and the entire school community.”

VariQuest provides free resources for its customers through its online resource center. Printing tools include product-related content, poster templates and designs, professional development webinars, and workshop information. The resource center also provides product training and technical support.

Hoonuit Launches Early Warning and Intervention Solution for K-12 Districts

MINNEAPOLIS (October 10, 2017) – Because intervention planning is a highly data-driven, yet emotional process, educators often face the challenge of finding both the time and the right approaches to support at-risk students. That’s why Hoonuit, the catalyst for education excellence through data analytics and professional development, created its Early Warning solution. Designed to improve long-term student retention and graduation rates, the Hoonuit Early Warning solution guides educators in identifying at-risk students earlier on and integrating the intervention workflow to easily and consistently track the progress of each implementation. “We have developed a student-centered solution that is informed by decades of hands-on experience to enable action and promote positive student outcomes,” said Dr. Jeff Watson, Vice President of Education Research & Consulting at Hoonuit.
