IO Education Expands Leadership Team To Continue Accelerating Growth

As part of this expansion, Eric Masters has joined as Chief Marketing Officer and Robbie Payne has joined as Vice President of Operations. Additionally, Eric Miller, who has been with IO Education for the past two years, has been promoted to vice president of product management. “IO Education has undergone significant growth over the past few years through key partnerships and acquisitions. IO Education, a market leader in helping educators use data to improve outcomes, has announced an expansion of its leadership team as the company seeks to build on its strong growth in 2016. As part of this expansion, Eric Masters has joined as Chief Marketing Officer and Robbie Payne has joined as Vice President of Operations. Masters joins IO Education with 20 years of marketing experience including time at Coca-Cola, CareAnyware and most recently, Relias Learning. During his time at Relias Learning, a member of the LLR Partners portfolio along with IO Education, Masters oversaw the company’s revenue grow from $35M in 2013 to $135M in 2016. Before that, he was the vice president of marketing at CareAnyware, a SaaS based EMR platform, where the company experienced 75 percent growth before being acquired. Masters started his career in marketing with over 10 years of experience at Coca-Cola.

“After helping CareAnyware and Relias Learning achieve record growth, I am honored to join the IO Education leadership team as we forge an exciting path forward for IO Education,” Masters said.

Payne comes to IO Education after more than 20 years at Horizon Software International where he was the Vice President of customer experience bringing enterprise solutions to the K-12 market. Payne adds extensive experience in technology development, information technology infrastructure, customer experience and customer support to IO Education’s leadership team.

Miller joined IO Education in September 2015 as the vice president of marketing and lead generation. His appointment to vice president of product management allows him to utilize his previous years of experience in product management with companies such as Leadercast, SunTrust Bank and Fiserv.

“The additions of Eric Masters and Robbie Payne signify an exciting time for IO Education and I am happy to return to a product management role to continue to ensure we deliver the best data solutions to educators,” Miller said.
