Portland, Ore. (Jan. 6, 2014) – Learning.com, a leader in delivering digital curriculum and assessments to districts and schools, announces the addition of Salik (Sal) Rahman as Vice President of Sales. With more than 20 years of experience in the education industry, Rahman understands the needs, challenges and opportunities educators face in today’s complex market.

"It is my privilege to be the newest member of the Learning.com team, and I’m thrilled to be part of a team of dynamic individuals working toward one common goal: improving the face of education,” said Rahman. “Through the use of Learning.com solutions, I am dedicated to enhancing teacher effectiveness and increasing student performance.”

As Vice President of Sales, Rahman will provide strategic oversight for all Learning.com sales initiatives. Rahman’s prior experience includes senior positions with Turning Technologies, eInstruction and Scantron Corporation. Rahman holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Oakland University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Pepperdine University. He has extensive leadership training and holds certifications from several sales and leadership programs.

Rahman’s appointment as Vice President of Sales took effect Dec. 23, 2013.
