DISCOVERY EDUCATION PRESENTS REED TIMMER AS THE FEATURED SPEAKER OF ASCD 2012

Discovery Education is proud to present Reed Timmer as the keynote speaker of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD) 2012 conference. Timmer, chief meteorologist for Discovery Education and extreme weather enthusiast from Discovery Channel’s Storm Chasers, will address conference attendees beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 24. He will share his experience chasing some of the most powerful storms on record and discuss how he works with Discovery Education to ignite the curiosity of students across the country and get them excited about STEM education and careers.
