Mobile Learning Going Strong

Partnerpedia, an enterprise mobility vendor, released findings from their Education Mobility Survey based on an informal poll of FETC attendees. Highlights include:

73% of those surveyed plan to issue school-owned mobile devices, with 59% also adopting a policy of BYOD.

68% of the schools plan to purchase mobile apps as their appprocurement strategy.

30% plan to both build and buy, and less than 2% plan to exclusively build apps.

Over the next 12 months, nearly half of those surveyed (46 %) will acquire up to 10 apps. More than 53% will acquire more than 10.

58% of the schools plan adoption of mobile app management solutions in the next 12 months.
