The Education Technology Industry Network of SIIA announces the appointment of Bridget Foster as the Senior Vice President and Managing Director of ETIN. Foster began her career as a high school science and math teacher and brings 17 years of industry experience to SIIA.

With large shoes to fill, Lohse will take over after the retirement of longtime industry leader Karen Billings WASHINGTON (August 11, 2016) –– The Education Technology Industry Network (ETIN) of the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) announces the appointment of Chris Lohse as the Senior Vice President and Managing Director of ETIN. With over fifteen years of experience in education, Lohse began his career as a chemistry, biology and physics educator and later worked in research and development as well as strategic partnerships in the education technology space.

Education Technology Industry Network Expands, Welcomes Education Industry Association Members

WASHINGTON (April 7, 2016) –– The Education Technology Industry Network (ETIN) of the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) announces it has expanded to include all member companies of the Education Industry Association (EIA), effective immediately. All current and recent EIA members are now members of ETIN. Terms of the agreement are not being disclosed.   Robert Lytle, Managing Director and Co-Head of Education at Parthenon-EY, will join the ETIN Board of Directors as part of the agreement. Lytle and Jim Giovannini, former executive director of EIA, have joined the Steering Committee for the Education Industry Symposium, held July 25-27 in Denver.

WASHINGTON (Dec. 16, 2015) – The Education Technology Industry Network (ETIN) of SIIA, the principal trade association representing the software and digital content industries, announces the new members of its ETIN Board of Directors. These newly elected and appointed executives from SIIA member companies represent a broad spectrum of corporate interests, and their visionary leadership will help guide the education technology companies during this time of industry change.   As board members, these individuals represent more than 200 ETIN member firms that provide educational software applications, digital content, online learning services and related technologies across the K-20 sector. The new board members will help develop initiatives and determine the projects, activities and events for ETIN in 2016 and beyond.

Currently the Principal at the BillingsConnects education technology industry consulting firm, Dr. Billings previously served as the Vice President and Managing Director of the Ed Tech Industry Network (ETIN) at the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) for 14 years. During her tenure, Dr. Billings oversaw strategic direction and initiatives that provided technology products and services to the K-12 and higher education markets on behalf of the division’s more than 200 member companies.
