eduTechers Change the World is a charity campaign demonstrating to students (and everyone else, too) that small change can add up and make a difference. Visitors to eduTecher.net click on the penny to generate a 1-cent contribution to charity on their behalf. At the end of November, site users can vote for their favorite charity from a selection of children's education charities and children's health charities.
eduTecher.net is a completely free resource for teachers, students, and parents which focuses on how to use free Web Tools in the classroom. The site has reviewed over 1,200 tools and offers over 45 videos explaining how to use them in the classroom. An iPhone app is available, and a Droid app will be out by the end of the month. The site is ad-free and has no sponsors.
