TCEA and TEC-SIG are hosting Educational Technology Day at the Capitol on March 21st, an opportunity for educators to communicate directly with elected Texas officials.

On Sunday, March 20th, a meeting to learn how to effectively advocate will be held at AT&T Executive Education Conference Center, Austin, Texas. The cost is $60 for TCEA members, $90 for non-members.

Take the 100-Day Presidential Challenge

An organization called Now Debate This announced today a new competition to coincide with President-Elect Obama’s first 100 days in the White House. “The 100-Day Presidential Challenge” will ask students from across the country to determine the biggest energy problems facing their communities and develop energy solutions they can implement at a local level. The competition is encouraging students to actively get involved in their communities to help solve America’s energy problems.
