Discovery Education announces the 2010 Discovery Educator Network(DEN) Gurus.

The five educators chosen to be DEN Gurus are advanced members - STARs - who have demonstrated their expertise in one or more pedagogical topic areas through a variety of professional experiences, and have been acknowledged as advocates for the meaningful integration of educational technologies and digital content into curriculum.

The 2010 DEN Gurus are:

Traci Blazosky, Clarion Area School District, Pa., for Creative Construction with Multimedia

Tim Childers, Bradley County Schools, Tenn., for Project-Based Learning

Patricia Duncan, Wallenpaupack Area School District, Pa., for Science

Lee Kolbert, The School District of Palm Beach County, Fla., for Personal Learning Networks

Nancy Sharoff, Ellenville Central Schools, N.Y., for Visual Literacy
