Pearson has announced an agreement with SchoolMessenger to provide customers of PowerSchool student information system (SIS) with turnkey access to the SchoolMessenger notification solution.
SchoolMessenger allows school districts to use their PowerSchool data to reach targeted groups of parents and staff through several channels including voice message, SMS text, email, social media, RSS, and website postings. Authorized users can contact small or large groups of constituents in seconds. Preference controls ensure that all communications are delivered in the manner desired by each recipient.
