Casio America, Inc. introduces a new model to its portfolio of calculators, the fx-55 PLUS, designed to appeal to the elementary grade level student as it can display fractions in natural form. The fx-55 PLUS also allows students the ability to calculate time and percents.

Designed for third through sixth grade math classes,the fx-55 PLUS offers large, color coded buttons and features division with remainders, percent conversions, random integer generation, fraction simplification, easy fraction/decimal conversion and time calculation (i.e. minutes to hours and elapsed/predictive time).

Casio has also upgraded two scientific calculators, the fx-300ES PLUS and the fx-115ES PLUS. The fx-55 PLUS will be available to educators through education channels for an MSRP of $12.99.
