littleBits has launched a contest today in partnership with crowdfunding platform DonorsChoose to help teachers raise the funds to bring the newest developments in STEAM (Science, Technology, Education, Art and Math) education to their classrooms.
Educators will create project pages involving littleBits, and then littleBits will provide them with tips for how to successfully raise money for projects. The company will also help build a supportive community — including littleBits employees — to help raise money for the projects. Projects that cost ~$200 have an 85% chance of being funded.
