Today's Newsletter: The best edtech weekend reading

A number of good pieces in the Tech&Learning newsfeed this morning that you may have missed: Nichole Dobo at the Hechinger Report interviews co-authors Lisa Guernsey and Michael H. Levine about their new book Tap, Click, Read: Growing Readers in a World of Screens . This Brookings Institute piece opines well on tech in schools, but uses this questionable OECD Report for backup. And then there is 11-year-old Maxwell Surprenant , who spoke last week at MassCUE about his nonprofit called Catching Joy, which promotes volunteerism by young children and their families. If he can’t brighten your Monday, nobody can. —Kevin Hogan, Content Director
