Finalists for innovative education forum announced; slots still open

Today,  Microsoft Partners in Learning announced  that 29 teachers representing 14 states across the US have been selected as first round finalists to attend the event on July 28-29.

Microsoft Partners in Learning is recognizing innovative teachers and providing them with the opportunity to come together and collaborate, share ideas, and celebrate their passion for teaching at the 2011 US Innovative Education Forum on the Microsoft Campus in Redmond, WA.

Today, Microsoft Partners in Learning announced that 29 teachers representing 14 states across the US have been selected as first round finalists to attend the event on July 28-29. Microsoft will be selecting up to 100 educators to attend the event in July if they submit their application by the May 15 deadline. The finalists will then go on to represent the US at the worldwide event in Washington D.C. in November 2011.

There is no cost for teachers to apply and attend the event if selected. Learn more at the Partners in Learning website.

Education Technology Pioneers Announced as Finalists for SIIA Innovation Incubator Program

The Education Division of the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) announces finalists, and an alternate, for its Innovation Incubator Program. The program will be held during the annual Education Business Forum, Dec. 10-11, at the McGraw Hill Conference Center in New York. The finalists will feature their products during the event, and awards will be presented to the Most Innovative and Most Likely to Succeed based on votes of conference attendees. The Educator’s Choice Award will also be presented based on votes from educators and administrators from around the United States. SIIA will also award prizes from program partners.
