Rodney Thompson, who has worked with South Carolina's Berkeley County Schools since 2002, most recently as the district’s chief administrative officer, has been hired as superintendent.
During Thompson’s 20-year career in education, he has been a social studies teacher, a principal, and an administrative supervisor for secondary schools.
