Katy (TX) Independent School District uses the latest technology to instruct students, thanks to Lenny Schad, chief information officer. Technology is used to boost student achievement, requiring a mindset change among many teachers. In order to keep pace with technology-native students, the technology department is reaching out to parents through open houses centered on technology students use in their classes.
