MassCUE Spring Conference: Leveling the Playing Field

MassCUE is stepping up to the plate with a new format and new dates for its Spring Conference.

Whether you are a rookie or a veteran, if you are an educator who uses educational technology, you won’t want to miss the MassCUE Spring Conference at Polar Park in Worcester on Friday, May 31 and Saturday, June 1. This event will feature presentations, workshops and hands-on sessions centered around the theme: Leveling the Playing Field.

The event’s all-star lineup includes keynote presentations from Marvin Venay, chief advocacy officer for Tech Goes Home, and Dr. Sawsan Jaber, equity strategist and founder of Education Unlimited. Plus, Worcester’s own Janitor with Stamina, Jimmy Cash, will share his comedic perspective as a special guest speaker. 

Major themes of the conference include the following:

  • AI: A Force for Positive Change: How can AI technologies be used to create a more equitable, inclusive, and humane educational landscape? 
  • Inclusive Tools for Diverse Learners: How can tools, policies, and/or strategies promote inclusive learning environments for diverse learners? 
  • Tech-Enhanced Individualized Instruction: How can technology shape individualized instruction? 
  • Digital Equity and Harm Prevention: How can digital equity prevent harm in schools?
  • Ethical and Empathetic Online Conduct: How can students access opportunities to practice ethical and empathetic behavior online?  

Participate in EdTalks: presentations and workshops by educators who are leading the way with innovative teaching strategies and state-of-the-art tools. Learn about the future of educational technology from dozens of digital learning companies and nonprofits. Dive in to best practices with hands-on learning sessions in the Innovation Fair. Network with educators from around the region: the MassCUE Spring Conference is a chance to meet up with old friends and make new connections!
