HP is launching a research internship program with University of the People (http://www.uopeople.org) to help prepare UoPeople students for the world economy.

The collaboration was formed as part of the HP Catalyst Initiative, a global network of consortia that brings together leading educational institutions and nongovernmental organizations to explore new approaches to science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education.

In addition to enabling UoPeople to engage in research and apply for research funding, the HP Catalyst Initiative will allow select students to apply for online research internships, working within the consortia on various projects across a number of areas, including education, technology and health.
