Fourteen states and the District of Columbia will participate in the PARCC field test, which will go live on March 24th. PARCC states are creating tests designed to give teachers information and tools they can use to customize teaching and learning for each student, and give students test questions that are meaningful.
PARCC has developed a variety of resources to assist schools and districts as they prepare to administer Spring 2014 Field Test. These resources will allow educators in all PARCC states to:
- Begin reviewing PARCC Field test administration guidance and timelines
- Begin reviewing schools’ device and network readiness for administration of PARCC assessments
- Gain familiarity with the types of items that will appear on the PARCC assessments
- Explore training and support materials designed specifically for the spring 2014 Field Test
