School Technology Resources and Real Curriculum recently announced a new grant program, the Realize Science Technology Grant, that will give $10,000 worth of science education equipment and curriculum tools to teachers in the U.S. Grant winners will receive new hand-help video microscopes with software to take still pictures, video, time lapse movies and other features, as well as curriculum books with lessons that have been designed to meet state and national science standards. To be considered for the competitive grant, teachers need to present “creative, innovative and educationally valuable uses of hand-held video microscopes.” The deadline for applications is April 30th; to find out more and download an application form, please click here.
