SETDA Launches New Program for Startups

The State Educational Technology Directors Association (SETDA) announced today the launch of the Emerging Private Sector Partnership Program, a new public-private partnership program that will welcome startups and emerging companies into SETDA’s existing sponsorship programs.

“This component of our refreshed Private Sector Partner program is designed to ensure that school reform and improvement policies and programs being launched by state leaders are informed by insights into the latest digital learning innovations,” announced Douglas Levin, SETDA Executive Director.

In order to become members of the Emerging Private Sector Partnership program, companies must submit an application. The deadline for companies to apply is May 8th. More information about the program is available here.

Other enhancements to SETDA’s existing sponsorship program are being launched. Gold and Platinum level annual sponsors will gain more benefits and Platinum level sponsors will receive increased flexibility in customizing their sponsorship. SETDA Launches The Guide to Technology Requirements

SETDA today announced the launch of The Guide to Technology Requirements, a web site to help school and district leaders understand the detailed requirements for the online assessments being developed by all six state-led assessment consortia aligned to new college- and career-ready standards.
