Tech & Learning Live @ ISTE 2015 Launches

Tech & Learning, the professional learning resource for K-12 Ed Tech since 1980, has launched Tech & Learning Live @ ISTE 2015, a new online social media hub where readers can follow the best, most relevant posts made before, during, and after the ISTE 2015 Show next week in Philadelphia (June 28-July 1). ISTE is the largest K-12 Ed Tech show in the US.

The site (go to www.techlearning.com/tltechlive) will be available in June and July for attendees at the show and anyone attempting to follow the show remotely to access via their mobile phones, laptops, tablets, and desktops. In addition to their own analysis and posts, Tech & Learning editors will curate the most interesting and informative social posts from Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Vine, and most any other social feed that Ed Tech opinion leaders use to discuss what’s happening at the show.

Live @ ISTE 2015 is being cosponsored by Intel Education and CDW-G, and social feeds from these companies are being presented on the site.

“The backchannel at shows like ISTE is overwhelming,” said Kevin Hogan, content director of Tech & Learning. “You can waste a lot of time trying to sort out the selfies from the really important takes on what’s happening at the show. We’re choosing the best posts from the key opinion leaders and highlighting them for readers. We’ll also be doing a good bit of original reporting from our dozens of educators advisors, who will be attending sessions and scouring the show floor. We’ll also be livestreaming interviews with keynote speakers and others on the site.”

Tech & Learning will use this social media hub platform to cover other industry events such as the School CIO Summit and Tech & Learning Live’s regional one-day conferences for Ed Tech leaders.
