The St. Patrick You Never Knew
An account of the life of St. Patrick, patron saint of Ireland, that attempts to separate the many myths surrounding Patrick from the surprisingly few facts history has left us. The article grows out of an interview with noted writer and scholar Thomas Cahill, whose best-selling book "How the Irish Saved Civilization" tells the story of Ireland at the time of Patrick.
