EdExec Live ICT Matters Conference coming soon

Look, I know this is short notice, but I’ve only just found this out for myself. The EdExec people, who produce a very good magazine with a section called ICT Matters, is having a live event on the 6th November.

The event includes a keynote from Ofsted’s ICT guru David Brown, plus several seminar streams, including:

  • The digital classroom
  • Communication
  • MIS systems etc
  • Procurement
  • Funding

As these titles suggest, the event is aimed not only at the ICT and Computing person in school, but senior managers and, I would think, bursars too.

You can find further information on the event here (click through to page 68) and at the EdExec Live ICT Matters web page, which also includes a link to the online booking page. The fee, which starts at a low level, includes lunch.

I’ve had nothing to do with this particular event, but I attended the Edexec Live Show back in May, and that was pretty good – I gave a talk in the morning but stayed for the whole day. It had a number of interesting seminars and plenty of exhibitors to talk to. (There’s another one in June, by the way: see the Edexec Live website for details.)

I think this ICT conference is worth checking out. It’s taking place at the Business Design Centre, in London, on 6th November 2013.
