2/12/2013 12:00:00 AM
The one-hundredth day of school usually falls some time in February. Use this resource from ReadWriteThink to explore many ways to celebrate this milestone in the school year. Practice descriptive writing skills using the lesson plan, “Celebrate the 100th Day of School,” practice math skills that are based on the number 100, and sing “Zero the Hero” from School House Rock, the words of which are provided in a link. Use the classroom activities that are suggested or click on the external websites that have lots more ideas. Who knew this was such a popular “holiday”!
