This fall, T&L will celebrate makerspaces, FabLabs, and more at our annual Tech & Learning Live conferences. In Princeton on October 21, conference attendees will see maker demos from Chris Aviles’ students from Fair Haven; try out the latest maker tools like 3D printers from librarians Sheri McNair and Shannon Mersand and participate in a "science fair" hosted by Rick Cave, Director of Technology at the West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District. In Dallas on November 3, Royse City ISD’s Stuart Burt will showcase VR; Del Valle ISD’s Juan Orozco hosts a Robotics and Coding Playground; and 2016 TCEA Library Media Specialist of the Year Michelle Cooper presents her school’s take on a maker space. Want to learn more about the maker movement? Kevin Hogan will interview Michelle Cooper during a free webinar on October 5 at 3pm Eastern Time.
