Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Adopts Blended Learning Program for High School Physics

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools has purchased Essential Physics, a comprehensive high school physics program from PASCO® Scientific.

CMS is implementing Essential Physics in all 19 high schools that offer physics or honors physics courses. Essential Physics is a full-color, comprehensive physics textbook, paired with an e-book offering over 100 interactive tools. Each physics teacher received a classroom set of the hardback textbooks, and each student received the interactive e-book. In addition, each teacher received the Essential Physics Equipment Kit, a complete set of equipment designed for use with the textbook and e-book. It includes the Ergobot and Ergotrack as well as kits for Forces and Machines, Waves and Sound, Light and Optics, and Electricity and Magnetism.
