ISTE11 NEWS: eTextbook technology, full-curriculum algebra app and more

Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH) today unveiled an array of new products and services for parents, students, teachers and administrators at The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) 2011 Conference and Exposition.

HMH will also rally attendees to join the company’s Global Education Challenge –designed to identify and incubate game-changing ideas for solutions with the potential to dramatically improve student outcomes in K–12 education. Hosted on a collaborative online platform, the HMH Global Education Challenge (www.globaleducationchallenge.com) enables entrants to submit an idea for evaluation by the community and a panel of expert judges for a chance to win from a pool of $250,000 in cash and prizes. Winning ideas will also be considered for development and ongoing financial investment from HMH.
