I always find it enlightening to read analysis that pertains to education technology that is outside our traditional edtech walls. This piece posted on MIT Technology does just that by summarizing this UNICEF paper called Children and the Data Cycle: Rights and Ethics in a Big Data World. There’s a long way from the heady big picture issues these articles highlight and how we use student data in the classroom.
