Today's Newsletter: Trouble in Baltimore County Schools
Another article was published today that details growing concerns about Baltimore County’s forays into technology integration. The issues ring familiar: “In addition to concerns about contracts, parents and teachers have expressed frustration with computers breaking down, students visiting unauthorized Web sites and the amount of time elementary students spend on devices.” This piece comes on the heels of stories last month in the Baltimore Sun and New York Times that criticize district leadership. It’s a complicated situation—at Tech&Learning, we’ve reported first hand on Baltimore County Schools’ best practices in the classroom.
