Multimedia software grants awarded

TechSmith Corp., a Michigan-based provider of screen capture and screen recording solutions, have announced that 339 Michigan schools will receive more than $2.3 million in multimedia software through the TechSmith Michigan K-12 Software Grant Program.

TechSmith is awarding more than 30,000 licenses of its products including Snagit, Camtasia Studio, Camtasia for Mac, Camtasia Relay and the company’s content hosting service, Screencast.com. Educators can turn their lectures into online videos that students can then download, view and review on mobile devices, or their home computers.
