Everyone knows the iPhone can make you look cool… but can it make you smarter as well? A new iPhone app in the iTunes store from developer Componica thinks it can.

Using a special algorithm within the iPhone application, Memorize Words for Spanish tracks the user's rate of forgetting individual words, and reminds him or her of the meaning when his or her recall rate has dropped below 90%.

Some of the additional features of Memorize Words include:
• Over 6,300 frequently learned Spanish Words with pronunciation professionally recorded by a native Spanish speaker.
• Four interactive puzzle games to reinforce the lessons
• Searchable Spanish / English dictionary for on-the-go translations

The application is available in the iTunes app store for $6.99 with a free trial version available.
