Kathy Schrock, a nationally and internationally known speaker, blogger and thought-leader in educational technology, has joined eGenio Education Solutions as a consultant. The company is now rolling out version 1.0 of its cloud-based platform that integrates technology, digital teaching tools and multimedia resources for today’s K-12 classrooms.
Schrock has more than 25 years experience in education and has held positions as district director of technology, instructional technology specialist, adjunct college professor and librarian. She currently teaches online graduate courses for Wilkes University as part of the school’s masters program in instructional media. She is an Adobe Education Leader, a Discovery Education STAR and Discovery Educator Network </> Guru.
In addition, Schrock has written hundreds of articles and several books on technology in education. She holds a master’s degree in library science and a B.S. in elementary and special education, both from Rutgers University.
